Philosophy

ONDA draws inspiration from the classic Napa Valley vintages of the 1960s and 1970s. Red wines of this period were made in the first-growth Bordeaux style, blending a diversity of sites together to create complex wines with the structure, freshness, and balance to age for decades.

The blended lotus design on the ONDA label reflects our winemaking philosophy and goal: a modern classic far greater than the sum of its parts.

Winemaker Chris Cooney composes every bottling by assembling distinctive individual notes, tones, and dynamics from vineyards across Napa Valley, and guiding them into magnificent harmonies that honor their vintage. Meticulous farming practices and minimal intervention in vinification give voice to the natural beauty and cadence of every carefully selected vineyard block.

Joining these unique elements together, ONDA wines celebrate the vibrant complexity of Napa Valley in every age-worthy bottle.
